Lost In Her

Lost
in
A Moment to
Capture,
In loves
ecstacy,
Ahhh,
Such Sweet
Rapture.

 Her
Arms
Enveloped
Me
Momenteraly,

. . . but I, holding on
for oh so
eternally long . . .

To an
Embrace
in and out
of
Time,
The
Sensations
so
Sublime.

Then came a
Kiss
so sweet,
Bringing
Feelings so complete.

My
Being
Intoxicated.

My
Soul
Elated.

My heart beat
Escalated!

. . . how can I tell her so,
I can not let her go . . .

  4. I love the way you use the line breaks to slow it down, but the short lines still keep us moving forward with the tension of the moment. Thanks for sharing this.

  5. Disappointed :D

Not really! It was a lovely poem, very nice and very moving. I just thought it was about The One, the being, but no, it was about a lady!

Well good for you both, it is wonderful. A very heartfelt expression of love :)

  6. Thank you all for your very kind comments :)

Now, Ta-Wan, my friend . . so clever of you to put two and two together, I should have known you would catch the essence of the poem!

OK, Yes it is about 'Love', but what is love? It is being, The Moment and that 'Oneness', which is at the centre of my partner, as well as at my centre.

It is in this 'Union' of love that the male and female polarities unite and a greater truth-reality-integrity can be realised. Especially if both parties are simply being in the moment, which is real . . 'Love' . . in all its forms.

The poem describes our first embrace. During this moment together we both went into the stillness of the moment and experienced the bliss of simply holding each other.

This of course is True Tantra, which is the union of man and woman as the two principles of 'being'. In coming together they bring that love, that beingness into existence.

Unfortunately, as always happens it seems, the westernised world turns everything into something it is not, and has turned Tantra into Sexual excitement. Tantra is not about 'free sex'; it is as I have described it here and in my poem.

The secret is in being able to remain in the moment and not to allow that cunning enemy 'unhappiness' in.

Not an easy task within any relationship ;-)
