The Wise Woman's Stone

A wise woman who was travelling in the mountains found a precious stone in a stream. The next day she met another traveller who was hungry, and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food. The hungry traveller saw the precious stone and asked the woman to give it to him. She did so without hesitation. The traveller left, rejoicing in his good fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime. But a few days later he came back to return the stone to the wise woman.

"I've been thinking," he said, "I know how valuable the stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious. Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me the stone."

. . . from a Centred Self . . .

Present Moment
Portal to The Great Integrity;
Divine Eternal Being
Within me.
Deeper than
Myself's Horizontal actuality,
Profound depth
Descending Vertically,
Direct line to
Heaven's Principality
From which
Life unfolds infallibly,
In The Moment
Providing Abundantly.

Torn Asunder

Distant houses vanish into this misty morn
Trill song of the Blackbird is beautifully born
Hum of motorway traffic Trundles along
Crow joining in with it's Raucous song
Leaf, unnoticed, flutters gently asunder,
From life's Branch it is Torn.

Ch, Ch, Ch . . Changes!

Would Time really Change me
If I could Trace Time,
What am I meant to be,
Surely what I am is just fine?

I've always been this
Eternal Bliss
Underneath Living's infernal
Ability to Miss . .

. . Reality!

YES

That's

. . . me . . .

The
Reality
of
Nothingness

. . . unfolding . . .

As
What
Is.

Did you miss me?

I'm you in disguise
As another
Man,
Woman,
Child

. . . look beyond . . .

Time

And what does
One
Find?

One
Finds
The Eternal Moment

Sublime!

1.The Eternal Moment 2.Time 3.Conditioning 4.Separation 5.Conflict . . .

***

"Time may change me, but I can't trace time", the lyrics of the David Bowie song Changes . . .

. . these lyrics just came to me and I found myself writing the above poem: C'est la vie!

The Person, the Personality, is the Mask of Pretence!

Q. Who, or what, am I?

A. I, the reader, am that which comes first . . .

. . and that isn't the chicken or the egg! Only in the realisation of this one Eternal Moment can one move beyond the polarities of the past and future, neither of which exist In Reality, because reality is timeless! The reader of these words is that reality, that timelessness . . This Eternal Moment.

. . . and that's the end of Conditioning, the end of Separation and the end of Conflict as a way of life . . .

One Found

Looking
Back
Could One find
Whatever it was
That lay behind?

Searching the horizon
of this life
Could One find
Any more strife?

No!

Hm, then peering
Within
One found
Nothing . .

. . . or . . .

. . was One mistaken . .
Could this
be
Everything,

Unfolding
Like an Answer to questions
Unasked,

Or a Solution
That simply
Is?

This Ain't
No
Cryptic Test,
Simply

Being

Is The Best,

For
It is the
Answer
and
Solution,

It is
Nothing
Unfolding
as
Everything.

1Yogi2Many Is Now on Facebook . . .

Whereas I only blog about once a month, I'm on facebook everyday .  . so I've decided to make 1Yogi2Many a facebook activity . .

I'll still post my monthly something on here, but on facebook there'll be daily posts about all aspects of life and living in the man made world, a seriously twisted mix of the real and surreal!

It's already up and running, here's a taster:

OK, I've been involved in Yoga since I was thirteen . . which evolved into Meditation and Self-Knowledge etc. over the years.

There comes a point where one realizes that there is NO label fitting for who or what one 'is'.

At this point the realisation is that one 'is' . . simply 'is' . . what is!
Also, one simply realizes that one truly Knows Nothing . .

. . which is why I say, "I know Nothing". And I do, I know 'Nothing' intimately, for it is ones very essence: It is what one 'is'. But no label fits perfectly ha, ha :-)

That may sound strange, weird even bizarre, but it is nonetheless the truth of One, or Oneness!

Many thanks go to Surjit Singh for posting the image above on facebook,
you may have noticed that I've adopted it,
well it says it all really!
;-)

1Yogi2Many is now on facebook, you can join him here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/1Yogi2Many/198612643533869
It would be great to have you join us.

Did You hear
About
The

Who
Refused pain-killers
During the root canal
Because

He wanted to . .

Ok, it's a golden oldie, but I simply couldn't resist ;-)

Non Dual or Duel?

I'm
Non-Duelist . . .

. . . and
You're
Dead
Duelist!

1Non-Duelist-But2-Is-a-dead-Duelist!

OK, that was just a bit of fun, a play on words and pretty meaningless unless you're into the whole Dual and Nondual subject, but . . .

. . there's a point not being made, believe it or not ;-)

Nondualism 101.

How
 Many
Nondualists
Does it take
to

Change

That you know,
There can be
only

One

Answer!

Being is?

Being
is
Consciousness
Itself

. . . and . . .

Consciousness
is
the most
Powerful and Creative
Energy
in
Existence.

Consciousness
is
The Energy Behind Creation,
and it is
Consciousness
Which creates your life

. . . but . . .

It does so based
on
Your perception of life

. . . yes . . .

You
Quite Literally
Create
Your own
Life
According to
The Clarity
of
Your Perception
of
Life

. . . how you see life,
is how it must be . . .

. . . however . . .

Consciousness
is
Regardless of what
Thoughts and/or Emotional feelings
You may have,

Consciousness
Simply

is.

If
You were able to
Still
All Personal Thoughts
and
Emotional Feelings
what
Would remain?

The answer is
Consciousness/Being.

. . . consciousness is simply
being
before, during and after
your sense of
 existing . . .

Being
is
Completely
Non-problematic,
it

. . . Always . . .

Works for Good . . .

. . . for
The Good
of
Life . . .

. . . not your
personal good . . .

. . . there is
no
personal
Good or Bad . . .

. . . that
is
The Illusion!

When
The Person
is no more,
what
remains?

The
Impersonal
remains!

And
that is
Consciousness
or
Being

. . . but don't get
hung up on labels . . .

Take
Away
all
labels
and . . .

. . . what remains . . .

?

Undercurrent

Shhhh
Silence Please.

Sit and Meditate,
If you must,
But know that
Silence is
Not the
Goal.

The goal of Sitting
Is Not to attain Silence;

That is to mistake it.
There is no goal.

Just sit in silence
And

Be
The
Silence.

Then
Let it Go.

Do
Not
Become Attached
To
Silence.

Who, or What,
Becomes Attached?

Silence
Is
The
Undercurrent
Of
All Life.

Everything Else
Is
But A Mental
Projection.

Mental Projections
Are Not
Real.

Silence
Is
Real.

Meditation: The Highway To Enlightenment?

Oh, ye'll take the Low road
And I'll take the High road
And I'll be Enlightened afore ye?

Maybe Not!

Meditation:
Is it
The High Way To
Enlightenment?

Meditation
Can
Open The Can of Worms,
But
Then The Can of Worms
Wriggles!

Just
Beyond
The Can of Worms
lies
Silence,
Stillness,
The Simple Joy
of
Beingness.

Does It?

Hey, it's OK, I'm not really asking you to answer the question on here,

The

The

Friday 13 May 2011

Meditation Is?

Meditate
Why don't you?

Meditate
To achieve that goal?

Meditate
For Relaxation?

Meditate
To relieve Stress?

. . . or . . .

Meditate
Into Silence,
The Stillness
Of
Simply Being?

. . . ah . . .

Meditate
With no Goal.

Meditation
Is
Silence, Stillness
The Simplicity of Being.

Now,
Meditation
Ends

. . . because . . .

Meditation
Is.

"It was nothing?"
For one maybe, but for the other
'Nothing'
became
his
'Everything!'

It's A Mystery!!!

“Time's fun when you're having flies.” Kermit The Frog.

It is in
the
Standing Still
of
Time,
In which it
Flies;

Never
to be seen
Again,

. . . for . . .

It
Never Was,

Will be,

But
Is.

Seemingly

Seemingly . . .

Stress
Eats away at me
De-generatively.

Seemingly . . .

Thought returns,
Like a homing pigeon,
To the scene of its crime,
Continuously
Time after time.

Seemingly . . .

Feeling overwhelmed
By the Enormity
Of this struggle to
Survive
And the Will
To stay Alive.

Seemingly . . .

Arises the need to
Die;
Emotionally.
To what does one
Cling?
Hope has Nothing to
Bring.

Seemingly . . .

Depressed
Walking through this
Valley of Death
Enveloped by rock
In this Hard place to be.
Holy Shit,
Please don't call this
Reality!?

Seemingly . . .

Wanting to give up
The Ghost,
"Oh what's the use?"
Mothers Jarring Words
Reverberate once more.
Life
Has become just another
Empty Chore.

Hanging in there . . seemingly!

Seemingly . . .

The past
Haunts me
Constantly;
Life ostensibly in decay.
The future distant
Apparently Grey.
Simply Being,
I no longer
Know,
The Way
To go . .

Seemingly . . .

The Drift of Life

Life's
Shallow Waters
Carry
Me
Along

Like
Driftwood Lingering
Too
Long,

But
Moving
Nonetheless

In
Directions
I'm
Unable
to
Redress;

Whilst
The Sun Shines
for
One and All,

Or
None At All,

And
Life Unfolds
As it
Must.

I Want Patience, and I Want It Now!

"What is impatience?

It is simply the selfish desire for things to be different from
how
things are.

Selfish desire is always ignorant of how things are meant to be
in
'The Moment'.

Acceptance of

'What Is'

brings about change as
and
when required.

Life knows exactly what it is doing."

What is Change?

What
You call change
Is
Simply
The
Unfolding
Of
What Is,
And
What Is
Is
 'Eternal'.

It is this
Eternal Moment.

The
Eternal Moment
Has
No
Beginning
And
No
End

. . . therefore . . .

It
Does
Not
Change

. . . although . . .

It
May
Appear
To!

1ApparentYogi2ManyAppearances

***

Change is the only constant, right?

The paradox here is that change is only an appearance . . it appears that everything is changing externally, but the centre of 'Life's Dynamo' is perfectly Still, it does not move.
When one is centred in the stillness of being, one sees through the surface, one cuts through, transcends and moves beyond the external to discover that change is not the only constant at all. No . .

The Eternal Moment,
that which is without beginning or end,
is the only constant.

All else is simply
Appearance.
