  2. So true. So simple when got but such a complex journey for someone who doesn't get it.

"Just be" to Joe Average is to just carry on as they are in the world of illusion, and of course we don't mean this. But once got, for Mr Arjuna Not-So-Average, it is this simple.

    So simple.

  3. True indeed Doug. Though what Ta-Wan said also applies. There is a way to be in order to fully appreciate it.

Once you know how to just be, it becomes amazingly simple!

  4. Ahhh . . wonderful, how wonderful to hear your words of wisdom . .

I have been saying exactly what both of you, Ta-Wan and C. Om, have just said; recently on a conversational thread here on blogger, where someone said "Just 'be', that is all that's required", and I replied, "Yes, that's wonderful, but at the beginning one does not know how to simply 'be'. One needs guidance and practice in 'being' before . . ."

Being is, as both of you said, 'amazingly simple', but not for the mind that is not 'Stilled', not for the mind that is lost in the sea of the conditioned personality.

Once a shift has taken place out of discursive thought of the fore-brain, and into the pristine clarity of the mid-brain, then being and oneness all make perfect sense; but until that happens it all seems so complex, or even ridiculous, and why wouldn't it to a mind stuck in a loop of attitudes, beliefs and opinions spawned of its own conditioning?

Yes Ta-Wan . . it is such a complex journey only to eventually arrive at extraordinary simplicity!
So, yes C. Om, I agree, once you know 'HOW To BE', it becomes amazingly simple . .

As Shinzen says, this must bee our Buzzzzzz of 'The Present Moment' guys ;-)

Thank you very much for contributing :)

  7. Thanks Bometernally . . I much appreciate your comments on here as another yogi who loves Truth. That's an interesting review of The Hatha Yoga Pradipika you are undertaking!

Simone, Wow thanks for that. I've taken a look and made comment . . so this is one blogger giving awards to fellow bloggers, is that how it all works? It appears to be a great way to show each other our appreciation and help each other to develop our blogs . .

    . . once again I thank you :)
